Sometimes living in
the Caribbean can be tough...
Poor Buzenneh's
tootsies have found their nemesis in the wet climate here.
Happily, the dreaded cone doesn't slow him down too much!

The
SOS club went slumming at one of our favorite locales, Spice Island
Resort this week. We were greeted with gusto by Dexter, the
server who Peter and Heather met months ago, and who remembered me and
asked about Peter by name. Spice Island is clearly a gem of
Grenada, and
we enjoyed a leisurely, rainy afternoon at the resort. Even more
importantly, Noga wowed us with an impressive anthropology presentation
focusing on the West Indies. We learned more about our host
country and the history of the caribbean.
After Noga's presentation, we enjoyed the cozy, rainy afternoon |
After a hard-won undefeated season,
Heather's hockey team, "God's Team" was rewarded with coveted T-shirts
and medals at a well-attended award ceremony. Heather was proud
to bring some balance to an overly talented team - thanks guys! :)

Peter
and Heather attended SGU's Faculty and Staff Christmas party on Friday
night. We enjoyed great finger food and mingling with some of our
new friends and associates. Heather and Renita, who also works in DES. Peter and Bruno, our favorite Lance Aux Epines bus driver. Peter nominated and supported Bruno in the student-voted employee of the year award. Congratulations, Bruno! The food art at the Christmas party was truly spectacular! |
