Missed it! A phenomenal sunset: as seen from our valley home. |
October 7, 2007. Jonathan and Anna. Pirates can be very sensitive, often only snorkeling with appropriate floatation devices in place. They are shy, but stealthy divers can sneak up on them. Careful! Don't startle one! They may capsize and wreak havok on all those around them! Success! A close up shot of the elusive pirate peeper. Ever graceful Anna. Two Brown Pelicans and three (seemingly juvenile) Brown Boobies. In the water just below the rock these birds are resting on is...dinner. And breakfast. And lunch. A schmorgasborg. Swim just a foot or two underwater, and the light starts to get blocked out by the massive number of fish. A pelican paradise. Jonathan. Anna. Fish-eye view of an afternoon chat. Raaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggg! A pirate and his vessel. Noga. |
Peter is an extremely
busy beaver this term, so most of our socializing has revolved around
the very practical need to eat food.
Dinner at De Big Fish Elegant birthday party at Quarentine Point. Dinner at Bouldangerie. OK. Some people don't think dessert is a need...but they don't know what they're talking about! Yum! Dessert with Josh and Ave at the University Club. The SOSes at the Lexus Cafe. |
